Public provides Council with valuable input on hospital funding
March 5, 2010 - Council heard from 18 delegates on Wednesday night, including residents, hospital staff and a representative from the provincial government, who expressed their views on the town's contribution toward funding a new hospital in Oakville.
Community rallies at Queen's Park to oppose power plant
March 3, 2010 - Over 2,000 people rallied Tuesday at Queen' Park to oppose the 900 megawatt natural gas-fired power plant proposed for Oakville and tell the Ontario government that power plants should not be dirty nor located close to homes and schools.
