The purpose of this application is to amend the North Oakville Zoning By-law (By-law 2009-189) from Existing Development (ED) Zone to General Employment (GE) Zone to permit the development of a 9.6 megawatt District Energy facility.
The subject land (7.75 ha) is located on the east side of the future extension of Third Line, north of Dundas St. West.
The land is also subject a Site Plan application (Town File No.: SP.1325.001/01) as submitted by Oakville Hydro Energy Services Inc.
